Biography

Always interested in drawling, he began cartooning in his youth and later started painting oils. Self taught, he has ventured into media and now works in acrylic. Marge, his late wife, took great interest in his work, her loving encouragement and support during their 57 year marriage enabled him to realize the satisfaction of a lifetime of art. Mr. Weinperl retired in 1990 from the Art Department of Valley Printing and Christmas Club Corporation, of Easton where he had designed brochures and advertising literature for banks throughout the U.S. and brochures for Walt Disney World. Jack has exhibited his work at many Lehigh Valley locations, including one man shows at both the Allentown and Bethlehem City Halls. He had a painting accepted in ART USA, which was on display in New York City. In addition, his paintings may be found throughout the United States, Germany, England and Mexico. Jack Weinperl has received many awards for his work.
